Who's Chelsea?

Hey, for awhile there, it looked like we were well on the road to "Bush Girls Gone Wild, Vol. 1" (Hey, I woulda bought it...). Sadly, Dubya's handlers finally made him understand that it wouldn't play well in the heartland, and he threatened to cut off their credit cards if they kept getting busted for underage drinking.

Hey! When asked about his cocaine use Bush was adamant.

When asked if he had ever used cocaine he gave an emphatic, "no comment"
He did however specify that he had definately not used drugs within the 7 years previous to the 2000 election.

Clearly, he has never used cocaine.

I recall the 90s being a time when PC called the shots and simply having a left-wing cause made you a saint regardless of any other details. Politics made sense then in much the same way the Feudal System made sense further back.

Frankly the idea of Chelsea becoming president creeps me out. Many people were sweet on that idea during the 90s because they were speculating based on the persona the media was creating for her at that time, at the demand of her mother. If she were to turn out well enough to move up in politics, I'd imagine she would display some of the traits Hillary possesses that have given her such notoriety.

Would you sooner have Chelsea or either of DUBYA's daughters??

Guys... relax! It is only Clinton's daughter, it's not like she is really important in the grand scheme of things. I don't think not remembering whether she is his or Bush's daughter makes someone stupid. And it could definitely be said that politically speaking, Clinton's presidency was a long time ago - the American political situation (indeed, the whole world landscape) has certainly changed a great deal since then.

Actually, in Australia, people have a hard time remembering even the name of our Governor General (it's Michael Jeffery), let alone the names of our Prime Minister's children.

This is America, though, and Americans in general do tend to get way too obsessed with anybody in the public sphere. (ex- and current) Presidents' children tend to be around tabloids just as much as other celebrities. Not that this means I condone any of it, just saying that it's not exactly like they're hidden away.

Guys... relax! It is only Clinton's daughter, it's not like she is really important in the grand scheme of things. Ok this is a thought that disturbs me greatly: In the last 20 years we in America have had 4 years of Bush the Elder, 8 years of Clinton, and 8 years of Bush the Younger. Ok now let us say Hilary actually gets elected and then re-elected. In this case this nation will have been ruler by the same two families for over a quarter of a century. This boggles my mind. Now to turn up the madness factor, how about Jeb in 2016? Chelsea in 2024? Where does it end? Just say no to dynastic politics *twitch*twitcher*twitchest*
