I'm getting back into my old hobby of forum based roleplaying. Hopefully the cat herding will go well this time, unreliable other players were one of my reasons to quit.

I joined one game with a bronze age / fantasy setting, and am trying to start a scifi one (in which people have been stuck in a virtual reality game meant as in-flight entertainment for a bit longer than intended... like a few hundred years... and have to adjust to real life again, then figure out what happened... ).

Courtesy of the lovely and talented Tamar, here is a link about how Obama's ancestor might have been the first black slave in the U.S.

Imagine you're that ancestor. You're THE FIRST black slave. Then, generations later, from your OWN bloodline, comes the first black president.

AWESOME.

I'm imagining I'm that ancestor.

...I've been dead for years.

WELL THAT WAS RIVETING.

Sorry, it was my impulsive reaction and at 5:10 AM I thought it was funny... -.-*

Pfft. Thirteen hours is nothing. I'm told I took almost 48 hours.

Baby's finally here. And she's three pounds less than i expected her to be (my cousin didn't gain much preggo weight at all but her stomach was HUGE so I was expecting a 10 lb baby, which isn't really unusual in my family)

So...um...I met a very interesting woman online- in a game we both play-I'm enjoying talking to her, and I know she's lez, and I seem to make her laugh. I don't think she's quite single at the moment, but she isn't exactly in a relationship.

Ok, I'm babbling.

Who knows. Other than I'm happy to have a friend who is lesbian to talk to I don't really want anything else right now.
There was a girl who had a little curl right in the middle of her forehead, and when she was good, she was very, very good, and when she was bad she was homicidal.

I am ridiculously happy about beating the time of someone named Richard Kalustian on my crossword puzzles app.

(I don't know, of course, if this person is THE actual Richard Kalustian, but he always has, if not the top time, then just about the top time.)
No more zoos!
