Really? I thought it was job security. (They're not going to get rid of someone who is willing to pull double shifts EVERY Sunday AND work any holidays we're open. Which is most of them.)

Nopa, I do Polymerase Chain Reaction testing (DNA/RNA). Testing fallout samples is something I do not do.
But I do play Fallout 3 on my xbox...

Ugh. So I was working on a new project in GIMP last night, and I had got a pretty big chunk of it sorted, when my computer decided it didn't want to be on anymore. In short, I lost ALL of my work, and now I have to start ALL OVER, and that includes re-tracking the reference picture I was using.

AUGH.

This also seems to have logged me out of all my websites, which means I have to remember a fuckton of passwords that I've forgotten since I never have to log into them.

My country is falling down the drain, quite quickly and literally. I feel helpless and sad. And a bit worried for my future at the moment =/. A lot worried, actually.

Also, the extreme heat does not help.

God, this is hard to do...

Today marks the passing of Milo, the Scarlet Marauder. His hobbies included biting my nose, slipping into my room through the gap between the door and carpet, pouncing on the laser dot, playing pounce and chase with his friend Mist, climbing up my leg to settle on my lap, riding/settling on the shoulders of myself and my mother, not taking any crap from bigger cats that thought he would make a good play toy, and curling up with me on the bed in a furry ball of purr. He was only with me for three weeks, but in those three weeks he was a very happy, loving and loved presence.

And now that I've managed to type this, I think I'm going to go get some ice cream while I try not to dissolve into a big bawling mess.

*big hug back* Thanks, Art. I know the feeling. Especially since I realized earlier today, Milo was one I wanted to take with me when I get my own place. Maybe even get him to meet whoever I end up with in the long run, y'know? He was my little guy.
